Week 3 - Chapter 3

This week was full of a lot of information that I have not heard of before like data mart, data warehouse, data mining, etc. This week was interesting for me because I learned so much new material that I would have never gained in any other class. This class is unique and I enjoy it. It it not like any of my other online class. This class is more involved than any of my others but I am learning so much more than any other. This is only week 3 and I have already learned a lot. Everything in this class is completely new to me and it is intriging.

Week 2 - Chapter 2

Well I made it through the first week of class. I learned the definitions of BIS and MIS. However, my own idea of the definitions before this class were not far off. I have already learned more about BIS than I thought I would in the first two weeks of class. Other than my own Internet problems, I am enjoying this class. I think this class is very knowledgeable class for students to take. I did not know what to expect coming into this class but so far, the knowledge is inviting me to learn more.

Week 1 - Chapter 1

Before starting this class, I did not really know what Business Information Systems or Management Information Systems were. I had an idea of my own definition in my head but I really had no idea. I am not sure what this class will entail as far as computer skills go. I am pretty confident with using a computer but am nervous about this class. Hopefully we all do well in this class and by the end of it, I will know the complete definitions of BIS and MIS and know what both are all about.
